How To Consign
1. Drop Off Your Items
Wednesday–Sunday | No appointment needed
Drop your items off any day we’re open. Upon drop off, you will choose to have items that are not accepted either returned or donated. If you choose to have items returned, you will receive an email after processing if there are items to pick up. Your items may be picked up within two shop days*. Items not picked up within this timeframe will be added to The Thrift's next $2 sale*. If you are unable to pick up within this timeframe, please reach out via email or phone and we will do our best to accommodate a later pick-up.
-Items must be freshly washed and neatly folded.
-Bring items in 13 gallon, disposable bags.
-No hangers, please.
-Limit of one disposable 13 gallon bag per day.
*Our $2 sales will occur periodically. Proceeds will go to a local organization of The Thrift's choosing.*
*shop day= Days on which The Thrift is open; ie. Wednesday-Sunday. This terminology is used throughout our website as our days open do not line up with typical "business days".
2. We Sort, Price, and List
-Our team sorts and prices your items based on brand, style, condition, and current demand. Please be courteous by consigning items that we are currently looking for. This not only helps us keep our storage area easier to navigate, it increases your profit!
-Accepted items are listed within one week of drop off.
-You may view accepted items on your Consignor Access Portal once they have been fully processed and listed.
Please note: We price to sell — this means you may earn less than you would online, but you skip the hassle of photographing, listing, and shipping.
3. Your Items Sell
Items remain on consignment for 45 days, and our consignment split is 50/50 when items sell. At the end of the 45-day period you may pick up any unsold items or choose to donate them to The Thrift's next $2 sale. A notification will appear on your Consignor Access Portal when items are expiring in the next 10 days. We will do our best to notify, but it is the consignor's responsibility to keep track of when items are expiring.
If you opt to have items that do not sell returned, you will have 5 shop days to retrieve items before they are donated to The Thrift's next $2 sale. If you are unable to pick up within this timeframe, please reach out via email or phone and we will do our best to accommodate a later pick-up.

All items must be contained in a 13 gallon disposable bag.
Clean Items Only
No stains, pet hair, odors, or unwashed items.
Folded Items Required
Items must be neatly folded.
Fast Fashion Policy
We are limiting the amount of fast-fashion internet brands we accept.
Basic pieces will not be approved. Trend-driven or standout items in excellent condition may still be accepted at our discretion.
